BEHIND THE WORK

I’m Donna Cabral, and I’ve been working in and around West Roxbury for over 20 years.

Carpentry and painting aren’t things I fell into — they’re things I was drawn to. I genuinely love working with my hands, and that love turned into a business. I started Cabral Carpentry & Painting in 2016 after years of doing handyman work for neighbors, and the response was strong enough that I built a company around it so I could hire other tradesmen and tradeswomen.

I run a small, focused operation — two crews, one standard. I’m selective about how many jobs we take on at once, because I’d rather do five things right than ten things halfway. Every project gets my attention from start to finish, and you’ll see it progress in real time through the photos we share along the way. You’re never left wondering what’s happening at your home.

Over the years I’ve built real relationships with the skilled tradespeople who make a project come together — plumbers, electricians, carpenters, and painters who are honest, licensed, and take their work seriously. When your project calls for it, I know exactly who to bring in, and you still only have one person to call.

Most of our work is for homeowners. We also handle repairs, turnovers, and maintenance for property owners and managers who need the same standard on a schedule they can plan around.
